Kennedy, who declared fifty-one years ago that “the Constitution makes us not rivals for power but partners for progress.”In this important speech, the US President emphasized that his “first priority is making America a magnet for new jobs and manufacturing”. Obama added that “to boost American exports, support American jobs, and level the playing field in the growing markets of Asia, we intend to complete negotiations on a Trans-Pacific Partnership”.
